EDF Energy is the UK arm of EDF SA and is one of the largest suppliers of energy in the UK, generating a fifth of the UK’s electricity and supplying gas and electricity to 5.5 million H40 residential and business customers. When they were looking for a solution to replace their highly manual corporate credit card reconciliation process, they chose SAP Concur because it fitted their need for an easily configurable, web-based solution to deploy within their time and cost constraints. EDF Energy also wanted more control over the credit card reconciliation process. They had identified that with their previous solution, it was “near impossible” to identify non-compliant transactions made on their corporate credit cards. EDF Energy extended their solution with Managed Reporting from SAP Concur. One benefit of having more visibility into their data is that they can see where they require more granularity when recording expenses.
Why EDF Energy Prefers SAP Concur:
“We needed a solution that worked companywide and could integrate seamlessly with our existing SAP platform. We now have an adoption rate of over 80%, compliance has improved, and bookings are down 15%.”
